Joyce Van Den Ouweland has a diverse professional background with experience in both technical operations and childcare. Currently serving as a Technisch operator at Astra Sweets since June 2021, Joyce has previously worked as a Kinderverzorgster at Kidiboe and held roles in both laboratory and retail environments. Educationally, Joyce has completed training in nail technology and has a background in childcare from Hivset, alongside a degree in organizational assistance from Heilig-Graf. This combination of practical experience and formal education positions Joyce as a well-rounded professional in their field.

Astra Sweets adds flavour to the confectionery sector. From our plants in Turnhout (BE), Harlingen (NL) and Nijkerk (NL), we bring delight to consumers in over 25 countries with our delicious sweets. We mainly develop and manufacture private label products, but also have a number of strong brands in our portfolio, including Frisia. Within 3 product categories: gums, mallows and UFOs, we capitalise on trends and develop new ones ourselves, in order to give clients every opportunity and to surprise consumers. Innovation, quality and service play a major role in our organisation.
