Tine Heymans is an experienced professional in food technology and quality management, currently serving as the Research and Development Manager at Astra Sweets since September 2022. Prior to this role, Tine was the Quality and Food Safety Manager at Cloetta from March 2020 to September 2022, and held various positions at Mondelēz International from November 2008 to March 2020, including Process Technologist and Quality Coordinator in the chocolate section. Tine also gained experience as a Quality Employee at Vaco Olen, part of the Bakkavor group, and as a Laboratory Technician at Labo Derva. Tine holds a Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology from Katholieke Hogeschool Kempen, completed in 2006, and completed high school at Heilig Graf Instituut Bilzen in 2001.

We mainly develop and manufacture private label products, but also have a number of strong brands in our portfolio, including Frisia. Within 3 product categories: gums, mallows and UFOs, we capitalise on trends and develop new ones ourselves, in order to give clients every opportunity and to surprise consumers.
