Katie Clark

Katie Clark has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Katie started their career as a Graphic Design Intern at WestWayne in 1999, followed by a Graphic Design and Marketing Internship at Ron Jon Surf Shop in 2000. In 2000, they also worked as a Brand Manager at Red Bull. From 2001 to 2002, they worked as a Graphic Designer at Avocado Group and then as a Junior Graphic Designer and Marketing Assistant at Jacobs Associates. In 2003, they joined IDEO, where they held various roles, including Junior Graphic Designer, Visual Asset Lead and Graphic Designer, Digital Marketing Lead, and Digital Marketing Director. In 2019, they became the Senior Director of Growth and Digital Operations at IDEO and held the role until 2021. Katie then worked as a Creative Director at Astra from 2021 to 2022 and currently holds the position of Senior Creative Director at the same company. Katie was also a Board Member at Angel Island Conservancy from 2017 to 2020 and a Guest Lecturer at Stanford University from 2008 to 2011. Additionally, they serve on the Advisory Board of ODLRx since 2019. Overall, Katie Clark has amassed extensive experience in graphic design, marketing, and leadership roles throughout their career.

Katie Clark holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Visual Art (Honors Program) with a focus in graphic design from Rutgers University. Katie also pursued Spanish Language and Literature studies at Stanford Continuing Studies. In addition, they obtained a Master of Fine Arts in Graphic Design from the Academy of Art University.

Katie has further enhanced their knowledge and skills through various certifications. Katie completed the Growth Series at Reforge in 2019 and attended the Digital Marketing Bootcamp at General Assembly in 2016. Furthermore, they have obtained the SLII - Situational Leadership II Training from The Ken Blanchard Companies in February 2023, the Insights for Innovation certification from IDEO U in April 2015, and is a certified Open Water Diver by PADI since July 2000.
