Smrutiranjan Prusty

Smrutiranjan Prusty is an experienced marketing professional currently serving as the Head of Marketing at Astral Adhesives since February 2020. In this role, Smrutiranjan is responsible for both short-term and long-term business planning aimed at organizational growth through execution planning with cross-functional teams. Prior to joining Astral Adhesives, Smrutiranjan worked as a Category Manager at Atul Ltd, managing Lapox epoxy adhesive and related categories from February 2016 to January 2020. Earlier experience includes product management at Pidilite Industries, where Smrutiranjan focused on brands such as Mseal and Steelgrip and successfully launched new products while implementing initiatives to increase market share. Smrutiranjan began a career at Amul (GCMMF) as State Incharge for Dairy Products in Jharkhand, enhancing distribution and inventory management. Educational qualifications include an MBA from Xavier Institute of Management and a degree from Orissa University of Agriculture and Technology.
