Brett Gottula

Brett Gottula is a Senior Communication Systems Engineer at Astranis, where responsibilities include leading the telemetry, tracking and control (TTC) system development for the company's first geostationary communications satellite. Prior to Astranis, Brett worked at SpaceX as a Senior DSP Engineer and later as a DSP Engineer, focusing on deep space transponder development and the Dragon 1 command receiver's signal processing. Previous experience includes a role as an R&D Electrical Engineer at FreeLinc, where the development of a QPSK modem for near field magnetic induction technology took place, as well as internships at Northrop Grumman, focusing on electrical interface design and anomaly investigations. Brett holds a Master of Science (MS) and a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Electrical Engineering from Brigham Young University.
