Luca Revelli

Luca Revelli is an experienced RTL FPGA engineer and team lead at Astranis since November 2019, with a solid background in hardware and FPGA design spanning over two decades. Previously, Luca worked as an FPGA Engineer at Apple from September 2018 to November 2019 and held the position of Staff FPGA Architect and Design Engineer at Dolby Laboratories, contributing to the Cinema Audio Processor product line from April 2013 to September 2018. Additional experience includes senior hardware design at Sanovas Surgical Technologies focused on enhancing surgical equipment image quality, and roles at Ro.Ve.R. Instruments, Harmonic Inc., and Cisco Systems, where significant contributions included the design of key video encoding technology and the first 10GbE interface for enterprise switches. Luca holds a DEA in Microelectronics from Polytech Montpellier and a BS in Electrical Engineering from Politecnico di Torino.
