Alejandro Barranca

Alejandro Barranca is a seasoned HR professional with extensive experience in the pharmaceutical and manufacturing sectors. Currently serving as Global HR BP Oncology at AstraZeneca since December 2022, Alejandro previously held multiple senior HR roles at Novartis from January 2010 to December 2022, including Global HR Transformation Lead and HR Head for Oncology in both Latin America and Mexico. Alejandro's early career includes significant HR positions at CEMEX, where responsibilities spanned from managing staffing and training to leading post-merger integration efforts, as well as roles in training and development at Pernod Ricard. Alejandro holds a Diploma in Business Administration and Management from the University of Miami and a Master's in Business Leadership from DUXX Graduate School of Business Leadership.
