Arun Maria

Arun Maria is an experienced IT professional currently serving as Director of R&D and Shared Services at AstraZeneca since February 2015, where responsibilities include leading Data & AI Platform teams, enhancing AI Engineering capabilities, and driving integration and automation initiatives. Prior to AstraZeneca, Arun held the position of Global Delivery Head for the Pega Practice at Tech Mahindra from January 2014 to February 2015, overseeing a team of 450 associates and managing customer delivery across multiple countries. Earlier roles include Senior Manager at Flextronics, where Arun established the GBS - Development Factory, and Senior Delivery Manager at Cognizant Technology Solutions, focusing on Healthcare and Life Sciences delivery for North America. Arun's career began as a Delivery Manager at Satyam Consulting, working on enterprise application integration projects for Europe and APAC. Arun holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics from Thiagarajar College of Engineering, obtained in 1993, and completed higher secondary education at KN Higher Secondary School in 1989.
