Carsten Linnemann

Carsten Linnemann is an experienced leader in the field of oncology and cellular therapies, currently serving as Vice President of Oncology Cell Therapy Development at AstraZeneca since January 2025. Prior to this role, Carsten co-founded and held the position of Chief Executive Officer at Neogene Therapeutics from September 2018 to December 2024. Carsten's earlier career includes significant roles at Kite Pharma, where responsibilities included Associate Director of Next-Generation T cell Therapies, and various positions at BCRT Holding B.V. and T-Cell Factory B.V., including co-founder and managing director. Academic credentials include a PhD in Immunotechnology from Leiden University and a Diploma in Biochemistry from Bielefeld University.
