Farhad Farjood

Farhad Farjood is a Senior Scientist at AstraZeneca, specializing in cell therapy. Previously, they served as a Research Scientist at the Neural Stem Cell Institute, where they advanced the understanding of Retinal Pigment Epithelial cells and contributed to innovative therapeutic strategies for tissue repair using techniques such as single-cell RNA sequencing and gene editing. Farhad earned a Master's degree in Biochemical Engineering from the University of Birmingham and holds a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from Shiraz University. They also spent time as a Research Assistant in biomedical engineering at Utah State University from 2014 to 2019.
