Jens Walton

Jens Walton has extensive experience in software asset management, having held multiple leadership roles at AstraZeneca from January 2017 to January 2025, including Director of Software Asset Management and Global Software Asset Management Lead. Prior to this, Jens was Senior IT Asset Manager at The Co-op from September 2013 to December 2016, managing the Software Licence Asset Management (SLAM) team for both the Co-operative Group and Co-operative Bank. Jens also contributed to the Co-operative Banking Group as Software Licence Asset Management Lead from March 2008 to September 2013, and began a career in technology and asset management at Carole Nash Insurance and Barclays Bank. Jens holds a BA (Hons) in Business Information Systems from the University of Lincolnshire & Humberside, completed in 1999.
