Jon-Paul Sherlock Freng

Jon-Paul Sherlock FREng is an accomplished chemical engineer with extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry and academia. Currently serving as the Executive Director and API Commercialisation Site Lead at AstraZeneca, Jon-Paul also holds the position of Executive Director of Manufacturing Technology Strategy and has been instrumental as the Director of Intelligent Pharma (Respiratory). In addition to practical industry roles, Jon-Paul contributes to education as a Visiting Professor at both the University of Strathclyde and the University of Manchester. Leadership extends to the CMAC Industrial Board as Chair and to IChemE in the capacity of Vice President, Technical. Jon-Paul earned a PhD in Chemical Engineering and a 2.i BEng(Hons) in the same field at the University of Manchester.
