Leeann MacHiesky

LeeAnn Machiesky currently serves as Associate Director at AstraZeneca since October 2020, following a distinguished career that includes roles such as Scientist II at AstraZeneca and various positions at MedImmune from September 2009 to October 2020, where LeeAnn focused on the development of biological assays for potency and characterization. Prior to MedImmune, LeeAnn worked as a Biomedical Scientist at the Department of Defense's Congressionally Directed Medical Research Program from February 2008 to August 2009, specializing in X-ray crystallography and protein purification. LeeAnn's earlier experience includes a role as a Research Biologist at USAMRIID from July 2004 to February 2008, concentrating on protein characterization and structural biology. LeeAnn earned a Master of Science in Biomedical Sciences from Hood College between 2006 and 2008.
