Mani Sharma

Mani Sharma has extensive experience in finance leadership within the pharmaceutical industry, having served in key positions at AstraZeneca from August 2018 to November 2022, including Senior Vice President, Group Controller and Head of Global Finance Services, where responsibilities encompassed Finance Architecture, Change and Transformation, Group FP&A, and Compliance. Previous roles at AstraZeneca included Senior Vice President positions focused on Deal Finance and the Global Oncology Business Unit. Prior experience includes serving as Chief Strategy and Operations Officer at Pfizer for BioTherapeutics R&D and multiple Chief Financial Officer roles at GSK, covering various therapy areas and business units. Early career development took place at the NHS in various finance roles. Mani Sharma holds a Bachelor of Arts with Honours in Accounting with Finance from Middlesex Business School in London and is a Fellow Member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).
