Marisa Vinyals

Marisa Vinyals is currently the Director, Project Toxicologist at AstraZeneca, a role they began in 2023. They have extensive experience in pharmacology, having held previous positions as a Safety Pharmacologist and an Early Safety Prediction expert scientist at Almirall from 2005 to 2015. Marisa also served as a Research Associate at both the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and the University of Barcelona and completed two postdoctoral positions at MIT and the Centre de Génétique Moléculaire. They earned a Doctoral Degree (PhD) in Pharmacy from Universitat de Barcelona, where they also completed their Master's and Bachelor's degrees.
