Martin Billger

Martin Billger is the Senior Director of CVRM Safety at AstraZeneca R&D, where they have been pivotal in overseeing safety assessments and managing international teams. They previously held roles as Associate Director and Project Toxicologist at AstraZeneca, where they were responsible for preclinical safety assessments and external communications with medical authorities. Martin's academic background includes a PhD in Zoophysiology from the University of Gothenburg, along with a Master's degree in Biology. Before their tenure at AstraZeneca, they worked as a Research Associate at both Göteborg University and Vanderbilt University.
