Max Kushner

Max Kushner currently serves as Senior Director, External Scientific Engagement Strategy Lead at AstraZeneca, focusing on integrating novel technologies such as AI for computational pathology and multiplex immunohistochemistry for biomarker development. Previously, Max was a Project Leader at Boston Consulting Group (BCG), where involvement in brand growth strategy and R&D portfolio management spanned across therapeutic areas including oncology and neurology. Additional experience includes a role as Graduate Research Fellow at Georgetown University Medical Center, contributing to breast cancer research, and a Product Management Intern position at Medline Industries. Max holds a Ph.D. in Tumor Biology from Georgetown University and a Bachelor's Degree in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology from Vanderbilt University.
