Partho Sen

Partho Sen, MS, PhD, is a Principal Scientist at AstraZeneca in Sweden, specializing in early cardiovascular risk management and bioscience technology. With over 14 years of experience in computational biology and data science, Partho previously served as a Data Science Analyst at the Mayo Clinic and a Bioinformatics Scientist at the German Heart Centre. As an Adjunct Professor at the University of Turku, they contributed to the field of biochemistry, specifically in computational biology. Partho holds a PhD in Biological Sciences from Université de Montpellier and a Master’s in Pharmacoinformatics from the National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research in Kolkata. Their research focuses on leveraging multi-omics datasets and AI to discover molecular signatures associated with cardiovascular disease and other health conditions.
