Piotr Bielecki

Piotr Bielecki is currently an Associate Principal Scientist at AstraZeneca, specializing in Research and Early Development in the Respiratory and Immunology fields. Prior to this role, Bielecki served as a consultant at NewCo and Third Rock Ventures, and held the position of Principal Scientist at Celsius Therapeutics, leading the IBD target ID strategy. Bielecki's expertise includes single cell RNA sequencing and T-cell activity in autoimmune diseases, with a strong background in advancing technology applications in this area. Earlier experience includes roles as Associate Research Scientist at Yale School of Medicine, where significant contributions were made to innate lymphoid cell plasticity and establishing RNA sequencing platforms. Bielecki's postdoctoral work was conducted at institutions such as Twincore Centre and Helmholtz Centre, focusing on bacterial infections and systems biology.
