Sandra Lara

Sandra Lara is a Senior Scientist at AstraZeneca, currently applying expertise in immunotherapy and nanomedicine. Previously, they served as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Uppsala University, where they conducted functional studies on monoclonal antibodies and developed complex cell model systems for research. They earned a PhD in Nanomedicine from University College Dublin, where they investigated nanoparticle interactions with cell systems, and they also have a Master's degree in Biomedical Sciences from Universidad de Granada. Earlier career experiences include visiting student roles at both IBIMER and UCD.
