Sara Sprangers, PhD, PMP, is the Director of Diagnostic Project Management for the Biopharma Franchise at AstraZeneca, where they manage the precision medicine portfolio. They have over a decade of experience in Biopharma R&D, blending a strong scientific background with project management expertise. Prior to AstraZeneca, Sara held roles at The Janssen Pharmaceutical Companies, AMC, and ACTA, contributing to significant research and drug development efforts. They earned a PhD in Cell Biology and Immunology from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and a Master’s degree in Biotechnology and Engineering from Chalmers University of Technology.
