Shailesh Gupta is currently the Associate Director of Global Project & Portfolio Management at AstraZeneca, where they oversee critical projects in clinical trials and manage collaborations with various stakeholders. From 2015 to 2022, Shailesh served as an Associate Principal Scientist/Project Leader at AstraZeneca, leading initiatives in cell and gene therapy and project management. Earlier, they conducted postdoctoral research at Harvard University and Tufts University, focusing on drug discovery and zebrafish ciliogenesis, respectively. Shailesh earned a PhD in Neuroscience from the National Brain Research Centre and holds an MSc in Biotechnology and a BSc in Biology.
