Shangzi Wang

Shangzi Wang is a Senior Scientist at AstraZeneca's Centre for Genomics Research in China. They previously served as a Research Associate Intern at Roche Pharmaceuticals, analyzing genomic contexts in clinical trial data, and held the position of Research Assistant at the FDA, contributing to quality control assessments of targeted sequencing platforms. Shangzi also gained experience as an Intern Assistant in Consulting at Merck Group and in Healthcare at Guangfa Securities. They earned a Bachelor's degree in Biology from Sichuan University, ranking first in their class, and are currently pursuing a PhD in Human/Medical Genetics at Fudan University. Additionally, Shangzi participated as an exchange student at Columbia University, focusing on biomathematics and bioinformatics.
