Tejal Choksi

Tejal Choksi is a seasoned professional in project management and oncology research, currently serving as Senior Director of Project Management for Early Oncology GPPM at AstraZeneca since May 2022. Prior to this role, Tejal held the position of Director of Project Management at Adaptimmune from November 2020 to May 2022, and served as Vice President of Project Management at Glenmark Pharmaceuticals from July 2008 to March 2020, overseeing drug discovery and development initiatives. Tejal began the career as a Research Assistant at Gujarat Cancer & Research Institute, contributing to clinical research in oncology while earning a PhD in Cancer Biology, and later established the DMPK department as a Group Leader at Torrent Pharmaceuticals Ltd. Educational qualifications include a Post Doctoral Fellowship in Receptor Pharmacology from Imperial College of Science and Medicine, a PhD in Cancer Biology from Gujarat University, an MS in Biochemistry from Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda, and a BS in Biochemistry from St. Xavier's College.
