Charles Alford is an experienced IT professional with a range of roles in different organizations. Charles currently works at Astreya as a Team Lead and Level 3 IT Support Specialist, overseeing a team of technicians in providing hardware service delivery to over 12,000 users in New York City as well as coordinating services internationally. Prior to that, they worked as a Level 2 IT Support Specialist at Astreya. Before entering the IT field, Charles gained customer service experience at Starbucks as an Assistant Store Manager and Barista, and at Walgreens as a Customer Service Associate. Charles also served as an Assistant Store Manager at Modell's Sporting Goods. Charles began their career as a Help Desk Specialist at the New York City Department of Environmental Protection and BGC Partners.
Charles Alford completed their high school education at City Polytechnic High School of Engineering, Architecture & Technology from 2012 to 2015, earning a High School Diploma. Charles then pursued a degree in Computer Systems Technology with a focus on Information Technology at City Tech, CUNY from 2015 to 2023.
