Brendan Hanna

Brendan Hanna has over two decades of experience in the technology industry, holding various leadership roles within IT and operations. Brendan began their career at Bridgewater State University and progressed to Smiths Detection, where they managed system engineering operations. Brendan then served as CTO and senior program leader at Vizsafe, Inc. before joining National Grid as the Director of Enterprise Architecture & Head of Digital Innovation Lab. Brendan then served as Head of Architecture and Infrastructure at Alkermes and Vice President of IT, Informatics & Operations at Jounce Therapeutics, Inc. Currently, Brendan serves as Vice President of IT & Facilities at Astria Therapeutics, Inc. In their roles, Brendan was responsible for formulating and implementing technology strategies aligned with organizational objectives, creating IT roadmaps, leading IT projects, and managing technical teams. Brendan also played a critical role in transforming organizations to be more efficient, innovative and result-oriented.

Brendan Hanna has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and a Master of Science (M.S.) in Finance, both from Northeastern University. Brendan also holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Management Information Systems from Bridgewater State University. Additionally, they obtained Continuing Education in Project Management Professional from Bryant University and Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer from Bridgewater State University. Brendan also acquired several certifications such as Dell Certified Systems Engineer (DCSE) from Dell, Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) from Microsoft, and Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute.
