John Faherty

John Faherty has a diverse work experience in the field of pharmaceuticals and chemistry. John is currently working as a Senior Scientist at Astria Therapeutics, Inc. since March 2022. Prior to that, they served as a Senior Scientist/ Process Engineer III at Curia (formerly AMRI) from July 2021 to March 2022. From January 2020 to July 2021, they worked as a Senior Associate Scientist at MilliporeSigma, and before that, they held the position of Associate Scientist at MilliporeSigma from October 2018 to January 2020. John also gained analytical expertise as an Analytical Specialist at Regeneron Pharmaceuticals, Inc. from April 2016 to October 2018. Their career began as an Assistant Chemist at Auterra, Inc. from March 2014 to March 2016.

John Faherty completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry and their Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics at Boston College from 2009 to 2013. In 2023, they obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Isenberg School of Management at UMass Amherst. John also holds additional certifications including ASQ Certified Pharmaceutical GMP Professional and ASQ Certified Six Sigma Black Belt, which they obtained in February 2023 and November 2022 respectively from ASQ - World Headquarters.
