Kristine Bernard

Vice President, Head of Clinical Operations at Astria Therapeutics

Kristine Bernard has a diverse work experience spanning several companies in the pharmaceutical and clinical research industry. Kristine currently serves as the Vice President and Head of Clinical Operations at Astria Therapeutics, Inc., a position they started in July 2022. Kristine began their career as a Project Manager in the Cardiovascular Division at Biocompatables from 1999 to 2002. Kristine managed two clinical trials for cardiac stents, working closely with CROs to ensure study implementation and data management.

Kristine also has experience at PAREXEL, where they served as a Project Manager in the Advanced Technology Group from 1998 to 1999, and as a Clinical Research Associate in Clinical Monitoring Services from 1995 to 1998. In these roles, they provided project management and team leadership for clinical trials in the areas of neurology and cardiology.
