Jemina Pomoell has a diverse work experience spanning across various industries. In 2006, they started as an Assistant Controller in Financial Control at Nordea Markets, where they worked until 2009. Following this, they served as an Analyst Intern in Equity Research at Nordea Markets until 2010.
In 2011, Jemina joined PwC as a Trainee in Corporate Finance for a few months. Later that year, they joined Danske Bank Corporate Finance as an Analyst, where they stayed until 2013. Jemina then moved on to become an Associate at Danske Bank Corporate Finance until 2016. Lastly, they held the position of Associate Director at Danske Bank Corporate Finance from 2016 to 2018.
In 2018, Jemina joined Antler as an Entrepreneur and worked until 2020. During this time, they founded their own company called Astrid Wild. At Astrid Wild, Jemina took on multiple roles, starting as the Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer/Chief Financial Officer in 2019. In 2020, they transitioned into the role of Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer, which they currently hold.
Jemina Pomoell started their education at Aalto University School of Economics in 2006, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree with a focus on Finance and Accounting. Jemina completed this degree in 2010. In 2010, Jemina continued their education at Aalto University School of Economics and obtained a Master of Science degree in Finance in 2011. As part of their studies, they also spent a short period as an exchange student at UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School in 2011, although the field of study during this time is not specified.
