Edward Moncada

Edward Moncada is a seasoned entrepreneur and investor with extensive experience in the technology and blockchain sectors. As Co-Founder of Zoomie, Moncada promotes animal welfare through a dedicated social network. In addition, Moncada serves as Co-Founder and Managing Partner at Protofund, an early-stage venture fund focused on blockchain/web3 and consumer products. Moncada is also the Executive Chair of The Zoomie Foundation, a non-profit organization benefiting animals. Prior to current roles, Moncada co-founded Blockfolio, a market leader in cryptocurrency portfolio management, which was acquired for $150 million in 2020. Moncada's experience includes advisory positions at Instadapp and Tokensoft, and a history of significant contributions in the cryptocurrency space, including a tenure as a Marketing Strategist at FTX. Moncada holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley.
