Missy Burk

Missy Burk serves as an Associate Delivery Manager at Astrix, specializing in delivering customized laboratory informatics solutions since June 2016. Concurrently, Missy has been involved with USA Cycling as an Official Cat A, where project management of cycling events is executed, ensuring compliance with organizational standards. As a Martial Arts Instructor at the International Karate League - Rocky Mount Dojo since March 2013, Missy teaches a modified Shorin-Ryu karate style both in person and online. Previous experience includes a role as a Laboratory Applications Specialist at Hospira, with responsibilities in software validation and administrative support of laboratory instruments, and as an Instrument Specialist managing equipment installation and maintenance. Missy's earlier positions included analyst at Thatcher Company, medical technologist at ARUP Laboratories, and experience with equipment troubleshooting and analysis procedures. Missy holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from the University of Utah.
