Peter van der Kolk is an accomplished executive with a strong background in the lighting industry and technology management. Currently serving as Chief Executive Officer at Astro Lighting since July 2023, Peter focuses on creating premium decorative lighting solutions for hospitality and residential sectors. Prior experience includes leadership roles at ASSA ABLOY Group as Senior Vice President & Head of KAM, John Cullen Lighting as Chief Executive Officer, and HELVAR as Business Development Director, where responsibilities encompassed business growth, marketing, and product management in lighting technologies. Peter also held various roles in sales and marketing within respected organizations such as Philips Lighting, Cooper Controls Ltd, and Maddox Broadcast. An MBA graduate in Technology Management from The Open University, Peter's educational background includes degrees in Electronic Engineering & Management and Commercieel Technisch Ingenieur.
