Clayton Fellman

Clayton Fellman is a Thermal Engineer at Astro Mechanica since July 2025, specializing in vehicle thermal management. Prior to this role, Clayton worked at Boom Supersonic from June 2019 to June 2025, contributing to the Overture aircraft's thermal management and serving as the responsible engineer for the brake system in the XB-1 aircraft. Previous experience includes an internship at Sierra Nevada Corporation focused on the Environmental Control and Life Support System for the Dream Chaser spacecraft, as well as roles at Zero Barrier, Sub-Zero Group, Badger Solar Racing, and as an undergraduate research assistant at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Clayton holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering with an emphasis on thermal systems from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
