Shahrul Imran Sultan

Shahrul Imran Sultan is a seasoned professional in product engineering and strategic partnerships, currently serving as the Director of Product Engineering at Astro since January 2012. With a career spanning over two decades at Astro, Shahrul has successfully led significant initiatives, including the migration of Astro Go TV Anywhere to a new user experience and the launch of the Cloud PVR feature, a regional first. Previously held roles include Vice President positions overseeing various departments where Shahrul executed cost-saving projects totaling over RM 150 million and identified innovative solutions for HD and PVR reception. Shahrul's earlier experience includes launching Astro 2.0 services as part of the first commercial HD service in Malaysia and managing teams focused on platform development and interactive applications. Shahrul holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering from Universiti Sains Malaysia.
