Connor Lyons O'Shea

Connor Lyons O'Shea has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. From 2012 to 2013, they worked as the Head Instructor for the Beginner Program at Sail Salem, where they were responsible for planning and implementing lessons for 8-12 year-old children, ensuring maritime safety and compliance with maritime laws. In 2014, they held the position of Program Associate at the Family Equality Council. During this time, they gained experience in program coordination and management. In the same year, they also started working at William & Mary, first as a Tutor at the Tribe TutorZone, providing low-cost tutoring for students, and later as a James Monroe Scholar, where they received a grant to study national security policy. In 2015, they joined the United States Coast Guard Auxiliary as a Telecommunications Operator. As a member of the USCGAUX's University Program, they assisted the USCG and related organizations in safety, accident prevention, and response. In 2017, they began working at Avascent as an Analyst, conducting analysis and providing consulting services. Connor Lyons was later promoted to Senior Analyst and eventually served as a Consultant (Engagement Manager), delivering strategic growth and value capture solutions to clients in government-driven markets. Connor's most recent role is Director of Business Development at Astrobotic, a position they started in 2021. In this role, they are responsible for driving business development strategies and initiatives for the company.

Connor Lyons O'Shea obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Government from William & Mary, where they studied from 2013 to 2017.
