Thermal Analysis Lead at Astrobotic Technology

Jaideep Pandit's work experience starts in 2010 as a Graduate Research Assistant at Virginia Tech, where they worked on completing their doctoral degree and published several technical papers. Jaideep then served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Virginia Tech in 2013, managing lab sections and conducting training seminars. In 2014, they became a Postdoctoral Associate and later a Research Scientist at Virginia Tech's Advanced Propulsion and Power Laboratory, focusing on gas turbine heat transfer and mentoring graduate students. In 2019, they joined North Carolina State University as an Assistant Teaching Professor and Director of Mechanical Engineering Labs, overseeing undergraduate laboratories and mentoring teaching assistants and graduate students. In 2023, they transitioned to the role of Sr. Thermal Engineer at Astrobotic.

Jaideep Pandit obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Mechanical Engineering from Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya, where they studied from 2005 to 2009. Later, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Mechanical Engineering at Virginia Tech and completed it from 2010 to 2014. Jaideep also obtained a certification in 32 Professional Development Hours from The American Society of Mechanical Engineers in June 2013.
