T.J. Fischerkeller has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. T.J. currently works as an Electrical Test Engineer II at Astrobotic since September 2021. Prior to this, they worked as an Electrical Engineer - Systems Validation & Verification at Naval Nuclear Laboratory from January 2020 to September 2021.
Before their role at the Naval Nuclear Laboratory, T.J. Fischerkeller worked at Northrop Grumman starting from June 2016. At Northrop Grumman, they served as an RF Engineer II - Antenna Integration & Test from September 2017 to January 2020. In this role, they were responsible for integrating and testing antenna systems, analyzing electrical and RF data, and presenting findings to design engineers and program management. T.J. also worked as an Electronics Engineer - Test Design Engineering from June 2016 to September 2017, where they performed component-level PCB testing and troubleshooting.
T.J. Fischerkeller also has experience working in the US Navy. T.J. served as a Small Boat Coxswain (Master-at-Arms Second Class) from July 2011 to August 2012, where they managed a Navy patrol boat and performed various duties including ship escorts, waterborne watches, and inspections of foreign vessels. Prior to this role, they held the position of Military Police Officer (Master-at-Arms Third Class) from May 2009 to July 2011, where they supervised and trained lower-ranking personnel, responded to emergency calls, conducted field interviews, and performed arrests of violators of the Uniform Code of Military Justice. T.J. initially started their military career as a SEAL candidate and Master-at-Arms trainee from August 2008 to May 2009.
T.J. Fischerkeller received a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from Penn State Erie, The Behrend College. T.J. pursued a minor in Computer Engineering during their time at the university, attending from 2013 to 2016.
