Dylan Adriaans

Dylan Adriaans has a strong background in IT management and leadership roles. In their most recent position as Head: Office of CIO at Astron Energy, they provided strategic guidance and leadership to a team of IT professionals, ensuring the delivery of support and value to the business. Prior to that, at Chevron, they held several roles including Risk, Strategy and Planning Manager, Infrastructure Manager, End User Computing Manager, and Technical Consultant. In these positions, Dylan oversaw IT risk, security, and compliance, managed IT infrastructure services, and led the management of the customer-facing operational IT environment. Dylan has a proven track record of driving optimization, innovation, and value-for-money in IT domains.

Dylan Adriaans obtained a Bsc in Computer Science from the University of the Western Cape between 1995 and 1999. In addition, they have obtained various certifications over the years, including Certified Chief Information Security Officer (CCISO) from EC-Council in 2023, Certified in the Governance of Enterprise IT® (CGEIT) from ISACA in 2018, and numerous ITIL and security-related certifications from various institutions between 2002 and 2017.
