Marilise Buck

Marilise Buck is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the energy sector, currently serving as the Commercial Manager and Category Specialist for the Catalyst, Chemicals, and Industrial Gases Category at Astron Energy (Pty) Ltd. since March 2019. In this role, Marilise is also the Refinery Integrated Lead and Change Champion, overseeing the transition of the Cape Town Refinery to the Astron Energy S4/Hana SAP and Ariba systems, focusing on risk management and documentation of changes. Prior to joining Astron Energy, Marilise spent 17 years at Chevron, where roles included Refinery Cutover Lead and various senior accounting positions. Marilise holds a Degree in Cost and Management Accounting and a Diploma in Cost and Management Accounting from the Cape Peninsula University of Technology.
