Hasibul Hossain Rifat

Hasibul Hossain Rifat has a range of work experience in the field of astronomy and mathematics. Hasibul Hossain is the Founder & CEO of Astronomy Pathshala and has been in this role since January 2020. Hasibul Hossain is also a Regional Training Volunteer for the International Astronomical Search Collaboration starting from April 2021. In 2019, they worked as a National Event Coordinator and Academic Volunteer for The International Astronomical Union. Hasibul Hossain has also served as an Ambassador for the International Astronomy and Astrophysics Competition and the International Youth Math Challenge. Additionally, they have worked as an Academic Team Member for the Bangladesh Astronomical Society, a Member of Astronomers Without Borders, and a Student Member of the African Astronomical Society. In 2018, they worked as an Astronomy article writer for "বিজ্ঞানবর্তিকা" (Science Journal).

Hasibul Hossain Rifat completed their education at various institutions. Hasibul Hossain studied Physics at Independent University, Bangladesh and also pursued Science at Dhaka City College. Hasibul Hossain'shigh school education was completed at Government Laboratory High School. Additionally, they obtained several certifications including the 3rd Kathmandu Astrophysics School from IAU Office of Astronomy for Development, IASC Asteroid Search Campaign from NASA, and certifications in Astronomy Workshop for Teachers from Discover The Universe. Hasibul Hossain also participated in projects like Asteroids@home and SETI@home. In 2017, they attended a workshop on Academic Research and Paper Writing from Scratch at the University of Dhaka.
