Carolina Secondo Maglia

Carolina Secondo Maglia serves as the General Counsel and Head of Legal at AstroPay since September 2022. Concurrently, Carolina is a Professor of Commercial Law and Comparative Legal Systems at Universidad de Montevideo, participating in a joint program with the University of London, and also teaches International Commercial Arbitration while coaching teams for the Willem C. Vis Moot Court Competition. Previous experience includes roles as General Counsel at Nilus Global, In-House Counsel at Pluspetrol, and Senior Associate at FERRERE Abogados, where Carolina specialized in Corporate, M&A, and International Arbitration. Carolina's legal training includes a Master of Laws from Columbia Law School and a Law degree from Universidad de Montevideo.
