Luca Primativo

Luca Primativo is an experienced aerospace professional currently serving as the Director of Technical Operations & Engineering at Astroscale since February 2024. Previously, Luca held the position of Vice-President for Space, Downstream Applications & Security at CGI, where responsibilities included strategic business development and focusing on space sustainability from May 2015 to February 2024. Prior to CGI, Luca worked at TELESPAZIO FRANCE as a Technical Manager, overseeing ground segment activities, and at OHB SE as a Space Segment Payload Technical Manager. Experience also includes roles at Thales Alenia Space as a GNSS System Engineer and Aerosoft as an Aerospace Engineer. Early career opportunities included research projects at the Centre National d'Études Spatiales and the European Space Agency. Luca holds a Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering from Università degli Studi di Napoli Federico II and furthered studies at the University of Glasgow.
