Amir Herandi

Amir Herandi has been working as a data scientist for the past four years. Amir started their career as a graduate teaching assistant at the University of Texas at Arlington. Amir then worked as a data science intern at Siemens Healthineers, where they processed and analyzed medical text using novel as well as classic Natural Language Processing tools and techniques. After that, they worked as a data scientist at Emailage, where they focused on classification and transfer learning using Pytorch and Tensorflow. Currently, they are working as a senior data scientist at AstrumU, where they are focusing on BERT and GPT-2 based models.

Amir Herandi has a Master of Science from The University of Texas at Arlington in Computer Science, which they obtained in 2018. Amir also has a Bachelor of Science from Sharif University of Technology in the same field, which they earned in 2015. Additionally, they have a Business Ethics certification from LinkedIn, which they completed in 2015.
