Xiao Cai

Xiao Cai has worked for multiple companies since 2006. From 2006-2008, they were a Research Assistant and Course Instructor at the University of Louisville, and an Interpreter at CHALLENGER LIFTS from 2008-2007. From 2007-2010, they were a Project Assistant and Software Engineer at INNOVATIVE ELECTRONIC DESIGN (IED), and from 2010-2013 they were a Revenue Management Advisor and Sr. Strategic Marketing Analyst at FedEx Services. Finally, from 2018-present, they have been the Manager of Data Science Team at AstrumU, and from 2013-2018 they were a Senior Data Scientist and Data Scientist at Microsoft, where they worked side by side with developers to enhance performance of Edge browser, and led data projects of Edge of experiment design/analysis, KPI design and varies of insight analytics programs.

Xiao Cai obtained a BS in Control Science and Technology from Huazhong University of Science and Technology between 2001 and 2005. Xiao then pursued an MS in Industrial Engineering from the University of Louisville between 2006 and 2007, followed by a PhD in Industrial Engineering from the same university between 2008 and 2010. In 2014, they attended Stanford University for Computer Science. Additionally, Xiao Cai has obtained several certifications, including a Deep Learning Specialization from Coursera in February 2018, a Bing Ads Accredited Professional from Microsoft in August 2013, a Mining Massive Datasets certification from Stanford University in March 2013, a SAS Certified Advanced Programmer for SAS 9 in April 2012, and a SAS Certified Base Programmer for SAS 9 in March 2012.
