Zeyi Wang

Zeyi Wang is a technology entrepreneur and AI expert with a strong background in microchip design and software development. As Co-founder and CTO of Astrus since October 2022, Zeyi leads efforts to utilize AI for automating complex analog layouts in microchip design. Previously, Zeyi served as a Founder in Residence at Entrepreneur First, fostering collaborative idea generation that led to the founding of Astrus. Additional experience includes roles as a Research Assistant at the University of Alberta, where Zeyi developed a general game playing system, and as an Artificial Intelligence Researcher at Hisilicon, focusing on optimizing LLVM phase-ordering. Zeyi has also contributed to AI initiatives as an Algorithm Engineer at Centaurs Technologies and a Software Engineer at HAI ROBOTICS, establishing foundational systems and technologies. Zeyi holds a Master's degree from the University of Alberta and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of California, Davis.
