Wael Elseaidy has been working in the healthcare industry since 1995. Wael started their career as a Senior Software Engineer at GE Healthcare. In 1998, they moved to Philips Health Systems as a Principal Engineer. In 2006, they became the CEO of Medstreaming. In 2016, they moved to M2S as the CEO. In 2021, they became a Co-Founder of Thruline Ventures. Most recently, in 2022, they became the CEO and Co-Founder of Astute Imaging, a spin-off from Medstreaming/Fivos. The vision of Astute Imaging is to apply AI technology and data-driven enhancements/automation for procedure planning and follow-up, to enable effective and optimized patient-centric care management for healthcare providers and device manufacturers.
Wael Elseaidy attended North Carolina State University from 1989 to 1995, where they earned a Master's Degree in Computer Science in 1991, followed by a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Computer Aided Engineering in 1995.
