Jay Patel

Jay Patel has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Jay is currently the Senior Director of Data Engineering at ASU Enterprise Partners. Prior to this, they worked as the DBA Manager at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Arizona from August 2020 to May 2021. From April 2014 to August 2020, Jay served as the Senior Manager of Global Database Services at General Motors. Jay also held the role of DBA Manager at US Foods from May 2013 to April 2014. Earlier in their career, Jay worked at Apollo Group as an IT Director from September 2011 to May 2013, an IT Manager from November 2007 to September 2011, and as a Software Developer from January 2005 to November 2007. Jay started their career at State of Arizona as a Lead Programmer from June 2001 to January 2005. Jay also has experience as a Software Developer at Telesoft Technologies from June 2000 to June 2001, as well as a Process Engineer at Rhodia from July 1997 to June 2000 and an Application Engineer at Rhone Poulenc from April 1995 to July 1997.

Jay Patel attended Vanier College from 1986 to 1988, where they received a Certificate in Health Sciences. Following this, they attended McGill University from 1988 to 1991, earning a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry. Jay continued their education at McGill University from 1991 to 1995, obtaining another Bachelor's degree, this time in Mechanical Engineering.
