Emeline Gaske serves as the National Secretary of the Australian Services Union (ASU), overseeing a union that represents approximately 135,000 members across various sectors. Additionally, Emeline is currently a Director at HESTA, the industry super fund for health and community services. Emeline’s legal background includes serving as an Associate in Employment and Industrial Law at Maurice Blackburn Lawyers and working as an Organiser for the Finance Sector Union of Australia. Emeline holds multiple degrees from prestigious institutions, including a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Laws from The University of Western Australia, as well as honors degrees from Monash University, and is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, serving on both the Risk Committee and Governance and Remuneration Committee at HESTA.

Representing the interests of approximately 135,000 members across the country, the Australian Municipal, Administrative, Clerical and Services Union, trading as the Australian Services Union or, just simply, the ASU, is one of the largest trade unions in Australia.
