Ashkan Shamili

Ashkan Shamili holds a bachelor's degree in software engineering with advanced degrees in Media Informatics from RWTH in Germany.

Ashkan’s experience includes product design and software development for SAP and IBM. His experience includes leading an international team providing consulting services for Accenture, T-Mobile and HSBC.

Ashkan launched Arash Trucking located in Bellevue, Washington and serving OTR freight transportation industry focused on providing best-in-class services using technology to provide efficient asset utilization across the fleet.

As the founder and CEO of Arash Trucking he quickly identified the gaps in the available TMS software to run his company and began to develop software to operate his business and connect to his customers. Developing software in the Salesforce cloud provided the flexibility and accelerated the ability to provide meaningful customized services fast to his diverse book of clients.

Ashkan sold Arash Trucking and launched Freight Trans Manager (FTM) in Irvine California. His vision is to provide the transportation and logistics industry with software that adapts, conforms and compliments their existing businesses workflow rather than providing a one solution fits all approach. He believes software must be customized according to business processes rather than business processes conforming to the software. His mission is to bring this solution to supply chains around the globe.

Ashkan loves the ocean and enjoys spending time on his surfboard catching waves. Ashkan is a true surfer CEO.
