Satoshi Shiratani

In 1993 - 2000, he joined the Accounting Department of Mitsui Marine & Fire Insurance Co., Ltd (currently known as Mitsui Sumitomo Insurance Co., Ltd.). Then, he served as Head of Internal Audit (secondment) at Japan Care Service Co., Ltd.(2000 - 2002). He served as Deputy Manager of Accounting (2002 - 2004) and Deputy Manager of Financial Risk Management (2004 - 2008) at Mitsui Sumitomo Insurance Co., Ltd. Then, he was assigned to The Center on Japanese Economy and Business (CJEB) at Columbia University (2008 - 2009). In 2009-2020, he served as Assistant General Manager at Mitsui Sumitomo Insurance Co., Ltd. Currently, he serves as Director at PT Asuransi Jiwa Sinarmas MSIG Tbk.

He earned a Master of Economics degree from Hitotsubashi University in 1993.

He has no financial, share ownership, and/or family relationship with other members of the Board of Directors, members of the Board of Commissioners, and/or controlling shareholders.

He was declared to have passed the Fit and Proper Test by the OJK based on the Decree of the OJK Board of Commissioners Number KEP-24/KDK.05/2020 concerning the Fit and Proper Test Results from Mr. Satoshi Shiratani as Candidate for Director of PT Asuransi Jiwa Sinarmas MSIG Tbk. dated July 8, 2020.

Currently, he does not have a position in another company. Internally at PT Asuransi Jiwa Sinarmas MSIG Tbk, he currently serves as a member of the supporting committees for the Board of Directors.
